Synthetic Slings
The synthetic webbing sling has the advantage of high strength combined with lightness and ease of handling. The two most commonly used synthetic webbing slings used for lifting in Australia are the 'Flat' (pictured right) and the 'Round' Slings (pictured below). |

Both types combine dimensional stability with great flexibility and instantly to the load cradling it with balance and security. Webbing slings are constructed of many and various materials, but the most commonly used are Polyester, Polypropylene, Polyamide (Nylon). |
WARNING
Wire Rope and lifting gear WILL FAIL if worn-out, overloaded, misused, damaged or abused. Always inspect ropes and slings for wear, damage or abuse before use. Never overload ropes, slings, chains or fittings. Do not tie knots in sling webbing. Consult with manufacturer's recommendations. |
